One of the thought-patterns of separation that arose with agriculture is the division of the world into two forces, good and evil, light and dark. It seems to read best when you’re ready for it. And this collapse is setting the stage for a revolution in human beingness whose stirrings we already begin tthe feel. It illuminates for me why I so enjoyed The Silmarillion, which describes the wonderful world of Middle Earth which Tolkien always described as our own world, but in a mythical time.

In Middle Earth, everything is purposeful and part humanoty the story, not random or arbitrary.
